Oh foolish Galatians, Paul declared, “Who has bewitched you?” Foolishness is like a cancer that eats its way into the very fabric of our lives, relationships and the moral order of everything. Foolishness as bound in the child is not being addressed. The children are not being raised according to wisdom and the Fear of the Lord. The wives are contentious and the fathers are gone. The efforts we make to secure our own lives can bring us into a place of false security and foolishness like the rich fool who was eager to store up his goods for many years and then he dies suddenly.

The Hebrew word for a fool is the word “bellows.” Our English equivalent would be “windbag!” The fool has said in his heart, “there is no God.” We have degenerated into a generation of blind rebellion against God that we have stepped into a new era of perversion and woke-ism. Not only has the Enemy turned this world into a heap of rubble, he has also blocked any rescue efforts on the part of the righteous. He has snatched the power of the Word of God, promoted a survival and man-fear mentality, and drawn on the sins of the generations to stop the church of Jesus Christ from rescuing the dying and care for the perishing. The devil’s work is thorough, but God’s power, the gifts of the spirit, miracles, gifts of healings, faith and power over the forces of hell will prevail.

If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do? The foundations of almost everything are being or have been destroyed by the Evil One. In his attempt to take over the world, nothing has been left un touched.
Our food, air, water, soil, weather, identity, morals, justice systems, even the gospel has been hijacked by the Kingdom of Darkness. The takeover has not been limited to the external world.
Our internal communications systems, our health, and spiritual vitality have also been attacked by fear, sickness and demonic  activity. The enemy is working over time to program us with his body of death to destroy any resistance that we might raise up against him.

Everything was broken, the people, their bodies, their hopes, their simple lives were torn and shattered. He found the people like sheep scattered and without a shepherd. The tragedies they had suffered had left them blind and unable to see the Light He brought. He was rejected and despised. They did not recognize the Gift of Life and the hope He brought. This was the agony He suffered when He carried their griefs and bore our sorrows. The cross was His love poured out for all of us.

Suffering has flooded the earth with pain, longing, waiting, injustice, lack, and human conflict. Few have not tasted its bitter visitation into their lives, relationships, health and hopes. What is the purpose of suffering? The fiery trials are to refine us and create in us, the image and heart of Jesus Christ. 
We can suffer for righteousness sake. We can suffer for the foolishness of our own sins. We can suffer because of the sins others have committed against us.
Suffering can come from the sins of our generations, in the Enemy using the unfinished business of sin and iniquity of those who lived before us to bring the patterns of loss and suffering and health aliments upon us. We have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus but we must stand our ground against the Accuser who tries to charge us with the punishment for the sins of others. How many children are attacked by a spirit of sexual perversion coming from their generation, and suffering for the sins of others begins to set the course of their lives.  Explore the suffering in your life to know how all things are working together for your good and allow the things you are suffering make you more like Jesus.

Suffering is part of this fallen world. Can it be avoided? Is there any redeeming merit to it? Is there such a thing as suffering needlessly? What does it mean to suffer for Christ? As common as suffering is among us, suffering still remains a mystery. Its origin and purposes seem to be hidden to us though we could be missing some of suffering’s greatest benefits. 
God uses suffering to refine our faith to bring forth the character and image of Christ in our lives. Jesus Himself learned obedience (demonstrated His obedience) through the things He suffered. It is a privilege to enter into the fellowship of His sufferings although most of us do not see suffering as a privilege but as a punishment.
